Precision TIN Stamping Punch Pins Tungsten Carbide Punch Dies
Precision TIN Stamping Punch Pins Tungsten Carbide Punch Dies
Punch pins, also referred to as pins, are screw-formed tools primarily used to finish screw heads and create recess shapes in screws (including Phillips, Pozi, Hexagon, Square, and Six-lobe recess configurations). Manufactured from high-speed steel or carbide materials, our punch pins are nationally recognized and available in various sizes to meet diverse application requirements.

Manufacturing Process
1. Drawing, Cutting
Tested raw materials are drawn to desired diameter specifications using wire drawing machines, then cut into fixed-length rod-shaped punching pin blanks.
2. Heat Treatment
Punching blanks undergo straightening on dial gauge platforms before heat treatment in high-frequency electric furnaces or salt bath furnaces at 800-1300°C for 2-5 minutes. Following oil quenching and hardening, tip hardness reaches Hv590-800, followed by low-temperature tempering treatment.
3. Grinding Processing
Punching pins are secured in machine tool spring collets, with grinding forming processes executed according to specific angular requirements for various needle bases.
4. Polishing
Surface cleaning removes oil, rust, and other contaminants to ensure optimal surface quality.
5. Inspection, Storage
Comprehensive inspection against required specifications ensures only qualified products are packaged for warehouse storage.
