The sleeve, also called the top tube or hollow sleeve pin, is available in various types including straight sleeves and ladder sleeves. These components are essential metal fittings for ejection devices in round through holes or blind holes within products where glue positioning is required. The system consists of a cylinder and a sleeve pin.

The sleeve is mounted on the ejector plate while the sleeve pin is mounted on the bottom plate. After mold opening, the glue position on the sleeve pin is ejected by the sleeve. When the hole or shaft experiences wear or machining tolerance issues, the original position can be telescopically moved, then restored to original size using a set called the sleeve (cylinder).
