Senlan Precision manufactures non-standard injection mold plates made from S136 stainless mould steel, produced strictly to customer drawings (Built-to-Print). By combining CNC machining with EDM processes, these mold plates achieve high dimensional accuracy, stable flatness, and reliable structural integrity. They are designed for precision plastic injection moulds used in packaging and medical applications where corrosion resistance and repeatable performance are required.

The injection mold plate functions as a core structural component of the mould assembly, supporting cavity inserts, core systems, cooling channels, and guiding elements. EDM processing is applied to areas with complex geometry or tight internal corners that cannot be achieved by conventional machining. All interfaces, mounting features, and tolerances are manufactured according to customer-supplied drawings to ensure compatibility with existing mould assemblies.
Machining equipment: High-precision CNC machining centers from MAKINO (Japan) and HARDINGE (USA)
Processes: CNC milling, CNC drilling, wire EDM, sinker EDM, surface grinding
Accuracy: Machining tolerance up to ±0.002 mm, depending on design requirements

Q1: Can the mold plate be supplied fully hardened?
Yes. Heat treatment conditions can be specified according to the drawing or application needs.
Q2: Is EDM mandatory for all plates?
No. EDM is applied only where required by geometry or tolerance; CNC machining is used wherever feasible.
Q3: Do you manufacture complete moulds?
