Custom Mold Core Pin Features
Our custom mold core pins are manufactured from premium SKD-61 hotwork die steel. Features include hot-forged heads with stress relief for uniform grain flow and high tensile strength. Surface can be ion nitride coated to HV 1000°±100° hardness, while the core can be vacuum hardened to HRC 52°±2°. Alternative steel materials available upon request. Our proprietary coating process ensures optimal toughness and extended service life, with high surface finish reducing friction and increasing pin longevity. Tolerance can reach 0.005mm upon request.
