Customized High Accuracy SKD61 Sprue Bushing For Plastic Injection Moulds
Sprue bushings are precision flow path components that facilitate the injection of molten plastic material from the injection molding machine nozzle into the mold interior. The bolt-type nozzle design ensures secure fixation using two bolts, preventing dislodgement due to injection pressure.
These sprue bushings serve as critical grab points for robotic removal of parts, sprues, and runners. Their rigid construction withstands robotic finger pressure and extraction forces, while Senlna technology reduces sprue cooling time without requiring mold modifications, resulting in more rigid sprues and optimized machine cycle times.
The sprue bushing integrates with the locating ring and connects either to the main runner opening or directly to the mold cavity. It directs plastic through runners, past the gate, and into the cavity. Placement methods include Linear positioning relative to two edges or From Runner Sketch positioning based on runner geometry endpoints.
