Product Overview


The Pipette Tip Core Pin is a precision conical core component used in injection moulds for disposable laboratory consumables.

It forms the internal cavity of pipette tips and ensures accurate taper geometry, smooth surface finish, and dimensional stability across high-cavitation mould systems.

All core pins are manufactured strictly on a built-to-print / OEM basis, according to customer drawings and mould design requirements.


Product Description


This conical core pin is designed for moulds producing disposable pipette tips and other thin-wall medical components.

The part features:

  • Long precision taper

  • High straightness shaft

  • Stable positioning base

  • Heat-treated tool steel structure

During injection moulding, molten plastic flows around the core pin to form the outer shape of the pipette tip. Any deviation in taper, straightness, or surface finish may directly affect sealing performance and dosing accuracy.

In multi-cavity moulds (8, 16, 32, 64, 96 cavities and above), core pins must maintain strict dimensional consistency to ensure identical product performance across all cavities.
